i have a mitsubishi mirage 1993 sitting in my garage, its there cause i crashed it... it was my first car and i still want to do it up after i've done some panel work on it. i want to stick a 1990 mitsubishi galant VR4 engine in it (2.0 DOHC intercooled turbo) also known as evo0 with a three inch exhaust straight through... if any one has any tips or suggestions on what else i could do and wat the best way of doing it is that would be great. my goal is to make this car do 11 sec 1/4 mile, but looks also count... so if u got any tips on what bodykits would fit that would b great to.

i'm a DIY kinda guy... so alot of tips would b good

this is what you have to do to swap that engine (same as eclipse/talon/laser/galant vr4 turbo). goodluck because I'm in the process for looking for the engine for my 94 rage.

you dont have to use a galant engine. any 89-99 mitsu eclipse, eagle talon, or plymouth laser engine will work, as well as lancer evo I-III engines. They are all the 4g63. The Galant comes with the 6 bolt engine which is good. The 90, 91, and early 92 dsm's also come with 6 bolt engines. the later ones come with 7 bolt engines and have been more prone to crankwalk. if you do ur research and buy from a reputable place u shouldnt have to worry about crankwalk

That's right. Any 4G63 motor will work.Of course the turbo:rolleyes:

i was wondering if a bodykit for a 92-95 honda civic will work for a mirage. can ne one help?
