Petition to get everyone to the tracks!
You heard me right! I think we should all bring our GA's to tracks and make a 0-60 and 1/4 mile listing for everyone on here with a GA so we can track what happens when we add new parts and stuff Anyone with me?

Re: Petition to get everyone to the tracks!
that doesnt sound like a bad idea Vipey its just getting things together when it works for everyone. My schedule sucks!
Last year I wanted to goto this track down south of us.
http://www.putnampark.com/
I seen the track in the winter when it was closed, it is more of a road coarse, though its a real nice track
The costs vary and so do times when its available to the public to race.
I think my SE will take a stock TA
be real close though

Re: Petition to get everyone to the tracks!
I figured low 13's on a stock ls1 w/6 spd.
Thats around what my SE does with my street tires.
Might be even better with some racing slicks up front, it does tend to peeeeel out
My GT is bone stock except the CAI & partial exhaust modification, removed resonator-replaced muffler w/flomaster 80 series, and gets in the high 14's.
I need to goto the track and get 20-30 runs in,
to see what the SE is realy capable of.
I have never realy tuned it up that well,
mostly just for street use .........

We should both go to the track at the same time after I get my engine work done this summer
Speaking of that... if I got the stage 2 parts from MMS and forged pistons (since the pistons really aren't too much moeny for some reason), what else should I probably get (engine wise) to handle heavy boost if I do that someday? Like rockers and stuff? I don't know all the components of an engine so I'd like to make sure to double check that I'm not missing anything, since I might as well get all of the engine build stuff done at once .
This is all assuming I make a truckload of money this summer and don't spend a lot of it... probably not going to happen, but I'm sure by wintertime I should have my car set up pretty well as a pretty badass sleeper

OEM, Performance Parts Sources - automotiveforums.com
as well talking with dudes at GAGT forums
in the AF link for the project v6fury... you can try and research the engine parts he used...
also there is that 60degree performance site that does alot of engine sort of stuff, they might have alot more info in their forums...
