air in cooling systemthat_guy5 03-28-2007, 08:38 AM how do u know when u have air in the coolant system?? and how u take out the air out?? thanks somick 03-29-2007, 11:42 AM My Accords have air bleeder screw on the side of the thermostat housing, but as far as I know you suppose to use it at filling your system with coolant. I do not know if you can use it when you already have filled it up. Most likely yes. There is a trick that I used to do on my old Subaru: Park your vehicle on incline nose up. Open your radiator cap and run your engine. The air will slowly leave the system. I hope this helps. Sam wiseguy01 08-19-2007, 05:33 PM retracted Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
