BMW X5 - 2002 4.4 - Steering Wheel Skweek

I have 02 X5 4.4, the steering wheel made a skweeking noise during slow turn. One of the technician said I need a new Clockspring.

I am not certain if I need to replace it if only made the noise, is it normal? And does anyone know the price for the part?

Does lubrication help?
