The shocks on my blazer are shot and I cannot find out what they are so I can have some assumption on replacements. I know they are KYB thats all. Can anyone give me and help or idea of the shocks I would need for my truck? It has an add a leaf kit in the back too. The only ones Ive found that might fit that arent 50$s each, are some Pro Comp ones from summit that fit a two inch lifted S-series. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you checked some of your local auto parts places or even some tire shops have a good supply of shocks?

Yes I have checked the local shops, the only place that could tell me they had shocks for a two inch lifted blazer was Advance Auto Parts, and those were Ranchos and were 75$ a piece which I refuse to pay. Getting shocks isnt really my issue, finding out what shocks to get is my problem. I was thinking if the ZR2 has a factory two inch lift, is it possible shocks for a ZR2 would work on my truck? Im just fishing to see if anyone can give me an idea for brand and model of a shock that will work.

Ill tell you my dilemma in full. I bought my Blazer this past summer. I was told it had a two inch lift on it and an add a leaf kit in the rear. The ride quality didnt bother me until a few months after I had had the truck and gotten used to it and started noticing things. So its spring and Im going to college in the fall and its six hours from where I live so Id like to know its gonna be reliable. So I want to replace my shocks and have it not ride like a POS anymore. First I did some digging online to determine which lift kit I had on it. I determined its a superlift 2 inch lift. I downloaded the instructions online and looked them over so I could tell what had been changed and if it had been done correctly. So I go out and look at the upper shock mount which has a bracket that is put into the stock shock mount and bolted and then welded in flush to the top of the stock mount. I look and mine isnt welded in correctly. So the idiot I bought it from cheaped out and used the stock shocks on the lift kit. My dad and I want to correct it but first I want to get the correct shocks for it and have them in hand before we fix it. That way its not unuseable for however long it takes to find the right shocks.

Its a lot I know but that is my dilemma. All Help Welcome. Thanks.

Was the shock bracket changed to us the standard shocks?
You might go online and check some of the major shock co. out.
Monroe and Gaberial and AC delco. should have something.
Good luck
