Door Lock - Rod/Link

Some jerk broke into my truck.
Not sure how, but something to do with driver's side.
No glass broken.

Now my driver's side door LOCK MOTOR does not move the lock.
I hear the "Clicking" when using the power lock controls (all other doors lock/unlock) but it is not connected to outside door handle.

I opened the door panel, I see 2 rods running from the inside handle to the door latch. Top is for the lock, bottom is for the handle. But leading to the latch is the steel door frame, I can't see beyond it.

But for the sake of me and the jerk who took a dime from my cup holder, HOW DO I CONNECT THE LOCK BACK TO THE HANDLE?

Or is it busted good and I need to bring to the shop?

Pop the door handle?

Thank you all.
