Re: Nascar
It's called the Car of Tomorrow.
Basically, it's shit. No matter how you look at it.
And the race today was terrible. Nothing like Bristol of the past.

They are running on a limited schedule this year of 16 races.
All of the short tracks, road courses, I know of Talladega in the fall, but dunno what else.
Nascar has nailed the final nail in their coffin with this one. I can't stand to look at those thing race around the track. No one seemed to be bumping or anything when it came to the race yesterday.
One funny thing about it was Kyle Bush said he hated driveing the cars and that they suck, right after he won the race in it. On national television. So we know a few drivers hate the car but they won't do anything about it.

Re: Nascar
yea, the new cars arent that great looking. but apparently the benefits outweigh the ugly looks.

Re: Nascar
isn't the new look for safety or something? they're trying to make the cars more safe because they are going faster and faster...

Ummm, how about the the Dodge Charger/Challneger Daytonas of old and Super Bees? They had wings higher that the roofline
I have been into Nascar since being knee high to a floor jack, but I am just about done waisting my Sunday afternoons away.

True, but it was only a few and not all of them. Plus those looked better.
I've only been a fan for about 9 years now. First race was Daytona when Dale won his only win there. But yeah, the only thing on Sunday I'll be watching from now on is Football.
