I was at advance auto parts the other day and they have these premade 3 stage paint im pretty sure its made by Duplicolor and i was wondering if anyone has ever used it or know anything about it becuz it was like 20 bucks each for primer,paint,clear and the guy there hadnt used it so he wasnt sure on how it looks.

what exactly are you painting? This a touch up job or some large scale spraying?

I would personally advise against the home can job unless there's a pressing reason for you to do so... like you lost a bet

Doing small areas with spray cans is wonderful as long as you follow the correct steps. However, I would also advise against doing an entire car that way....ESPECIALLY with Duplicolor which is a lacquer based, premade product. You never had a headache like the one you will have in trying to paint your entire car that way.
