help no sparktruckgray 03-21-2007, 07:03 PM I have a 88 dakota it died on me replaced coil,wires,distributer still wont start. Fire going into coil but not coming out and have a relay on the inner fender wall thats clicking . The coil has no fire. I have changed the coil and the pick up in the distributor. You don't mention the engine size. Plus, you say there's no fire at the coil. Are you testing for spark from the coil wire to ground? Or from a spark plug wire to ground? This may help diagnosis.
