electrical problems....

I recently purchased a 93 4runner. I took out the cd player the previous owner had, to install my own cd player. Being an idiot and not thinking straight i didn't disconnect the battery. I just cut the wires that were connected to the old cd player all at once and there was a small spark.. i thought i blew a fuse or something. I checked them and they were all okay. There is now no power for the clock on the dash, and no power going to the cd player/radio... also, the highbeams work when i hold the signal lever back to flash them, but when i push the signal lever forward to turn them on they don't work anymore... any ideas? did i completely mess something up or could this problem be easy to fix.... any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: electrical problems....

Use a meter or test light to verify that they are good and that the circuits have power.
