I think i may have a leaking oil pan gasket, but Im not sure if its that of a rear main seal or something.

Which is the most common gasket failure on these if im seeing oil drips on or around the oil pan and an oil slick going back from the oil pan gasket towards the rear of the Rodeo.

Thanks, and please post if youve had any of these leaks and at what miles.

Oil leak repairs I've done include valve cover gaskets at 140K and 160K, oil cooler o-ring at 158K (?), and rear camshaft plug 2 weeks ago at 160K. I still have the passenger side cam plug and valve cover gasket to do, but the driver's side has been totally dry since working on that side.

I thought my valve covers or oil pan were leaking, turned out to be the oil drain plug leaking a bit. It doesnt take much of a leak to make a big mess (left side of trans and bell housing were just covered and dripping with oil). The next time I had the oil changed I told them and they put on a new plug and crush washer.

Now I just need to fix my leaking power steering.
