Question 92 Explorer Stuck in 4 wheel drive

Hi,I have a 92 explorer that i just picked up and i pushed the 4x4 button and it enganged.When i went to take it out of 4x4 it wont disengage.The lights on the switch dont work.Is there a way i can get it back into 2 wheel till i get a new switch? Thanks

you can find where the slector switch goes into the transmission and try to pull back on it which will put it back into 2 wheel drive
