Talking Supercharger?

I would LOVE to throw a supercharger in my 2001 Chevy Tahoe. Anyone have any advice for me - is it worth the cost? Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks!

Supercharger

Hi There,

Putting a supercharger on a Tahoe/Yukon/Sub is something that is common with all of the aftermarket converison companies (AI, Canepa, Becker etc.) but some people have had a lot of trouble with the installation and maintenance. There are several brands of superchargers that people use and it looks like Whipple tends to be the brand of choice.

That said, I recommend going here and doing a search (Ctrl+F) on "supercharger" and see what people are saying, pros and cons.

Good luck.

Yea of course its worth the cost. I dont see any downside of a supercharger as long as you can afford it. Your rear tires may see a little less life though Maintinence can be a pain, but there are several maintinence-free superchargers out there i believe.
