Question GM Trouble Codes

I have a 1994 GMC 2500 with a 7.4 liter engine. I have a trouble code of 36.

The book I have shows this code as a mass air flow sensor problem. My truck does not have a MAF. I cannot find this code relating to the 7.4 engine. Anyone have any idea what it might be?

trouble code 36

I am having the same trouble code come up on my truck. The tester that i used says something like "distributor-less ignition system fault"
I found a service repair in the glove box from the previous owner where the same code had tripped and the dealer replaced "defective ISC Actuator ASSM" The part that they listed for the repair was 10233505 Valve ASM $17.33. I dont know if this helps but it sure gives a place to start. If anyone has solved this problem since the last post I would love ot hear the cause.
Also, I was unable to find the part online by the part number so I'm not even sure what it is.

After conferring with the parts guy at the chevy dealer, he was able to tell me that the part i replaced was the idle speed control actuator assembly. I replaced the same part again for about $16.00 and 5 min of labor then cleared the codes and the SES light has not yet come back on.
Hope this helps someone.
