92 Bonneville Beyond wierd tranny problem...

I have a 92 Bonneville SSE, 158k on it. Recently I was driving around and all of sudden the car lost all power. It seemed like it shifted into neutral, but did not. I pulled the car over and shut it off. Once I restarted the car it drove fine for about 30 seconds, and then it would lose power again. The only way to get the car to actually drive were in the 30 second intervals after I started it. Anyone have a clue as to what the problem could be. It was at normal operating temperatures when this happened.

When it quits.. check the spark...
When it quits. check the fuel rail for pressure before turning the key again.

Good Luck

Re: 92 Bonneville Beyond wierd tranny problem...

Hey guys I had a problem like that in the past and I found a leak in my tranny. I checked the tranny oil to find it was very low and filled it. It ran great again. Just the first thing to come to mind.
