We just bought another 3 series. This one a 325 ic. We can't figure how to get the roof down. Prior owners husband did the deal and when he tried he couldn't. They owned it since it was a year old.It just had about 1800 dollars worth of wiring and motor for the top about 1 year ago. But before we take it to the place that did the replacemnt we were thinking maybe we aren't doing it right. We turn the handle for the release in the front and then tried to push the button for down. Is there side releases or anything else. I don't hear any power and thought there is another saftey release or blown fuse. Any help would be appreciated. We also have a 325 is.. Thanks

I dont know a lot about the convertibles, but the first place i would check is the fuse?? If the fuse is good and you hear no noise its a possibility the motor is out.. Just a guess...
