I got a CB now i need to hook it up

My father just gave me his old Cobra 29 LTD classic and i have the mic and i went and priced things today to see what I need and i came across a power cord but i dont know where the other side hooks up to?..but ive heard things about converting it so you can run it off of your cigarete lighter?..and i found a 10 $ antenna a walmart...i drove a corsica and i just plan on havin a little fun on the thruway...any suggestions?..
