well its back from the machine shop, 97 vortec roller block, roller cam, aluminum heads, punched it 0.030 over , speed pro forged aluminum pistons, PM rods with arp bolts and a whole lot of other parts!

that is a pretty skimpy looking chain. a dual roller really doesnt cost much. it sounds like you making a good amount of torque. you might consider an upgrade (easier done now than later).

i need a special chain since im running an OE roller cam, different than the regular flat tappet timing chain, that thing i have is a MASSIVE single roller which gm used and is suppose to be very strong, as most of the ndouble roller for a OE roller cam block are quite expensive and this was free(still brand new) btw its going into my 86 camaro
