Unhappy 89 325i to E36 m3

I just wanted to express my love for the 89 325i. When I got it there was 162,000 some miles I got it for $400 ( it was a bit banged up) I put new tires on it a timeing belt and when I put about 40,000 miles on it got a oil change. This was just one of the best cars i've ever been in. right now im stuck with a probe but aiming to get a E36 m3 maybe like 93 but I wanted to get some imput on this issue. Oh and for my 325i Some guy in a jeep hit his girl car and someone hit me into him..My poor car was pinned under him and the hood was crumpled up to just about my windshield..there were 215,000 miles on it ( i had the car for only three months..) I beat that car hard and it just took it(I mean I got it for $400 I'm young and stupid..sorry..). It honestly ran like it was new..(I use to drive the car for no reason..more then half of my check would go into gas. I know it just a car but I really miss it..) Sorry for the long post im just heart broken.. I don't plan to beat the m3 when well if I get one so if anyone could give me any insight into my quest of a E36 m3 I would very much appreciate it thank you..

Well its a shame to hear that it got totaled. But an E36 M3 is going to be a big step up. You wont find many good ones for under about $12k. But good luck if you do get one.
