Re: Spot/ Fog Lights

helllo, im in the same boat as you.

but what ive done is, buy the lights of ebay, go to renault and buy the loom (thats if they dont come with the loom) and buy the stalk for the fog light switch of ebay.. (its connected up already, on the o/s fog cap, there is the wire cliped on to it, which you wire the fog light loom into, then you change the stalk, add a fuse and away you go!)

but if you go to renault and get them to fit them, they want £123.75 + VAT (JUST TO FIT THEM!!) thats not including the lights.

so id go with the D.I.Y

Re: Spot/ Fog Lights

Hi stu,

I am also looking to fit fog lights in a 51 clio expression and was wondering if you could help?

I should be able to get hold of the lights and stalk, although I am a bit confused over the loom. Do both foglights have seperate wiring/loom that go to a socket under the off side fog light space cover?

I ask this cause I only seem to be able to find one light with the loom attached.

Also can you simply replace the stalk without removing the whole wipers/lights control unit from the steering column?

Thanks for any help you can provide with this!

Sean

Sean,

the car already has the connection for the loom. you get the loom, and clip it in, then run the loom from the n/s light to the o/s light, and the wire clips to the bumper.

the loom has 3 connections.
1 to go into the connection already there.
2 to go into both fog lights.

as for the stalk. i havent got round to doing that yet.. but i think its just the case of removing the case around (behind) the stering wheel. and it just clips off and on..

let me know how you get on..

thanks
