Re: What a great night.

Good thing it was not the pt. blood. One of the connectors on the rapid infuser was loose I guess and it sprung a leak. saw it happen just had alot of pressure and well we had a blood squirt gun for about 3 sec till we could get it turned off. It's 5 am here now and I am almost done cleaning it up. Got on the machines wall both ER cots and on ME. Good thing it was clean blood that has been tested for all the bad stuff.

Yeah, definitely a good thing it was clean. Would have sucked if it was like HIV+ or something.

Re: What a great night.

Nasty. Thank you for sharing.

My aunt works in the ER and she decided that it would be fun to show me my first stab victim at 8 years old. It was bad.

Thats not too shabby there... The one night we spilt this huge tube of blood in the ER from a cleanup... Oh it was a friggin mess from hell... There was probably about a pint of blood that got spilt...

Nothin tops the guys that come in with their arteries sliced open and they're spraying everywhere...

Re: What a great night.

The thing that pissed me off the most is we don't have housekeeping in the hospital on night. Well they like to be called environmental services. Another thing that pissed me off was that I had no mop just those damn swifers or whatever they are. Oh well.

Re: What a great night.

I saw the red and black chest and thought somebody cut themselves on something in a garage, and was really looking forward to a good story, but something sprung a leek, what a letdown.
