2.8 intake swap

does any one know if i can swap intakes on a 1982 carbuerated intake onto a 1989 fuel injected 2.8 ? i have a carbuerated engine that has a thrown rod and i have an 89 fuel injected engine that i want to install in my 82 s10 but i want to use the carbuerated intake on it. will the intakes interchange?
