What's the difference?G-ealousy 10-02-2002, 02:53 PM I understand that I have the SR20DE, and that the SR20DET is the European version with a turbo... but what the @#$%& is a SR20VE???!!!! Pardon my ignorance, but, I've owned 2 of these bad boys here in the states, and I've never heard of that engine yet.. And it's MORE expensive then the Turbo? Cliffgump 10-05-2002, 05:42 PM the sr20ve is a version of our motor with variable valve timing, similar to Ford's VCT, Toyota's VVTLi, and Honda's VTEC. Lots of other companies have similar systems. I believe the motor is rated at somewhere in the 190-200 hp range. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
