95 s10 blazer tranny help

My 95 s10 blazer goes into gear drive and reverse but when i give gas in reverse its like it wont grab. Is there a such thing as a reverse clutch? This is a automatic. Please need help.

Check your tranny fluid level.

After fluid check.
Make sure transfer case is not in neutral.
Any check engine lights on.
A scanner will show codes if it has a electrical problem.
Scan for codes and post back code no if you have any?
