I am looking to get a new muffler for my GMC Sierra truck. My friend told me to get a master flow 40 series but I don’t know much about it. I am looking for one that has a nice deep muscle sound that sounds good at idol and is loud when I rev up. Any advice or info will be very helpful.

have a flowmaster super 40 series also and i love it!

it sounds very nice, it's a two chamber muffler and i can feel the torque and horses it has given me, it has a really nice deep rumble. when i had it installed i had the installer cut the pipe before the rear axial to give that extra sound, it has alot of interior resonance and vibration, but no fumes.

i would defiantly recommend it,

+++ it only cost me $120 out the door installed.

Dynomax gives you a Low Rumble but is pretty loud when you launch the truck or Rev it up. FlowMaster is another great brand or possibly Magnaflow.

Another thing you could try is after you find the exhaust you like get a Cai that improves the sound of the Exhaust greatly with a noticable difference in hp/trq and a improved mpg .

GoodLuck
