Carlos916 02-12-2007, 07:56 PM dx is 4 door sl is 2 door..... Thank you for clearing that out AudioGuy93DelSol 02-12-2007, 08:27 PM Dx can be 2 door too. Where is the redline on the tach? aquarius 02-12-2007, 09:08 PM wouldnt the biggest distinction be if its mpfi its SI if its dual prt fi or carbed its dx AudioGuy93DelSol 02-12-2007, 09:11 PM Yeah, that's true too. lxndr 02-12-2007, 10:41 PM Carlos916, All of the above information is wrong! Here are the real differences: An SI will have a fuel injected motor, a motorized sunroof, an aluminum valve cover, a rear wiper and a soft foam rear spolier. A DX will have a carbureted motor and a stamped steel valve cover. Since you have an '87 CRX (I looked in your profile) it could also be an HF model. An HF will have a carbureted motor, aluminum rear brake drums and a black plastic valve cover. A glass sunroof and a plastic spoiler were options on the HF and DX models. There are other differences but these are the most obvious, and over time some of the parts on your car may have been replaced with parts from other models. Carlos916 02-12-2007, 11:08 PM my car have a soft spoiler. It doestn't have an sunroof and a back wiper. lxndr 02-12-2007, 11:15 PM my car have a soft spoiler. It doestn't have an sunroof and a back wiper. Then it's either a DX or an HF, and someone added the spoiler. All SI models came with a motorized sunroof and a rear wiper, there were no exceptions. aquarius 02-15-2007, 07:55 PM lxndr you save they day again lol and i wast completely wrong with what i said just a lil but thanks for clearing it all up i had been wandering how to distinguish between them myself vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
