I just got a 2000 S-10, 2.2L, manual trans., 25K miles. The gas gauge was on about 1/4 of a tank and it stalled. I started it up and it just died. I did that couple times, then added about 2 gallons of gas. It started right up and ran fine. Then I filled it up and it took about 13.5 gallons to completely top off, that means it only held about 15.5 gallons after stalling (on 1/4) and I read in the book that it has a 18.5 gallon tank. Anyone have any ideas? It runs fine, so I don't think it is the fuel filter, could it be that, or maybe the pump?
Thanks,
Frank
