For those who might recall my issue I had with an O2 sensor going bad every time I turned around, it was setting a code for low voltagePO134, I believe it was a PO134. I have a 2000 GP 3.1 with about 104K. Anyway, it began popping up again, and I got fed up. I finally leaned on the dealership to figure out the problem as they had just charged me another $250 to install another bank 1 O2 sensor. This was the 3rd one instqlled by them in 18 months. Seems the previous owner of the vehicle had to have a new transmission installed. (Now I know I have a good tranny.) Well, apparently there is a ground wire that went to the tranny that grounded the wiring bundle with the O2 sensor. The tranny shop had shredded the ground wire and did a piss poor job of fixing it. This bad wire was buring up the guts in the O2 sensor causing the low voltage code to be set. The dealership replaced the wire free of charge and dismissed the diagnotics charge. The car now runs like a dream and accelerates with some guts to it. My wife thought I was nuts about getting this fixed as she swore she never noticed the reaction from the car as she is easy on the pedal. She now is singing a different tune as even she has noticed the performance difference.
