Got some good news today...
Got a call from the admissions department from UTI, and basically did an interview over the phone... and the guy is mailing me my admissions papers to start school on August 6th. He said that he's pretty much the only guy standing between me and and going to school there, and that he's absolutely certain that I'm going to be getting in. I'm freakin stoked. I decided to start that late so I can have an ample amount of time to get things situated. I need to save alot of money so I can get a place to stay down there. Set up a student loan.. and really just get my ducks in a row ya know. Great part is that it's not that far from Jacksonville which is where I'm at now, so I'll still be a little close to home. I can't wait.. I've got that scared/excited feeling right now. Scared for leaving home and everything behind but excited to finally venture off and attempt to do something with my life. I mean, I graduated high school back in 2005 and have done absolutely nothing in the mean time. I just feel like this is that opportunity that's been knocking on the door for a while now and I'm just now getting around to opening it.
