Exhaust Leak?JustJCarr73 01-26-2007, 07:44 PM So I recently did a full exhaust on my truck (headers, cats, cat back) the headers came with a doughnut gasket thats seems to be made of lead. I cant tighten the bolts between the cats/headers enough for both ends to touch, theres about a 1/2 inch gap on each pipe. Ive been noticing an audible pop under acceleration which im assuming is coming from that joint. My question is, how do I go about tightening that gap? or should I purchase normal triangular gaskets for that area. Anny help at all would be much appreciated.
