Lincoln needs to step up.

I have noticed a lot lately, that Lincoln has not had anything distinguishible to set them apart from the other manufacturers. it seems that while Cadillac, Lexus, Infiniti, and Acura are all advancing foward, Lincoln is constantly falling behind, always being a step behind evrybody else. Like look at the Town Car. It is extremely dated, and makes almost no presence in its class. Like the MKZ, it is well, in teh middle. The Lexus is prestige, teh acura is sporty, the Cadillac is sporty prestiege, and Lincoln just seems to fall in the middle.

Re: Lincoln needs to step up.

The Lincoln MKR concept is gorgeous. It's based off of an extended version of the Mustang's plateform and it has a twin turbocharged version of the new 3.5 V6. If Lincoln makes that, then they have a halo car of sorts to get buyers into their show rooms. I saw a concept for a Lincoln sedan to replace the town car, its supposed to be an awd, V6 powered, and based on the plateform of one of the Volvos. I think Ford could pull Lincoln out of their rut if they try. Just don't have J. Mays design any Lincoln cars (cringes at new Focus, new Expedition, and all recent Ford concepts).

"Yes, but badged Viggen"

"I'm at the Saab dealer right?"

"Yes.."

Re: Lincoln needs to step up.

The Lincoln LS is beautiful and the Navigator is a work of art.

The LS has been discontinued, and the Navigator is technologically obsolete, easily one upped by the Escalade, and outright trampled by Land Rover(s)
