00 celica gts tick, and idle problem

i recently changed the seals of the crankshaft, oil pump, clutch (mechanic didnt put all matching flywheel screws) and water pump. my celica starts to tick after it warmed up, and the car idles really low, like at 500rmps sometimes, i find it difficult to drive when its like that. what could be causing the noise and idleing problem?

are you sure that the mechanic aligned all three timing marks on the timing chain. Mine does not click it has 120,000 mi on it. 50,000 on the rebuild.
if you need a picture of the timing marks I have a jpg. e me at santana@oilsyntheticoil.com
