Celica Question

Ok my friend has a 95 celica he wants to sell me for $200 that has a blown motor. I have to options i could rebuild the engine or buy my other friends 97 Honda accord thats a v6 and do a engine swap....My question to u is what will be easier and cost the least?....Your Help will be appreciated

The honda swap would be very costly and take a lot of time. You would be better off swapping a toyota motor such as a 3sgte which is a turbo charged rally motor. Cost would be in the 3k range though. You could buy another stock motor and just replace what ever is broken which would be cost effective but the stock motors were slow and not impressive at all. If the body is in excellent condition than the 200 is more than worth it if you have the time to fix it. Everybody has a 97 accord so I would never recommend one unless you are one of those people who is afraid of standing out at all. Good luck with whatever decision you make
