Headlights

Ok, so my stock headlights are fine...
but i just dont like them
i am thinking of buying some aftermarket ones,
with the projectors.
but im wondering....
is this a smart idea?
are most aftermarket headlights
posistioned right....
cuz i dont wanna end up lookin like those ricer boys
that live near me....
one light staight,
the other pointed somewhere else....

what im tryin to get at is
where should i get them from,
and is goin to look right.
i mean looks dont mean a shit
if my lights arent even adjusted right....

i was lookin at ones on ebay...
they have nice designs on ebay,
but i dunno how well you can trust ebay stuff
im lokin to spend 150-200
any ideas?

the dual halo's
with lowbeam projectors look nice.

yeh im aiming for those.

Re: Headlights

why did you hit enter so often??? It looks like you were writing a poem....

Anyway, i have no real input on this other than i'm not a big halo fan...personally i would save your money and get a set of HID's...that would be money well spent IMO. I love my HIDs

Re: Headlights

you should
take out your
left headlight
and run your
cold air intake
right through
the hole so
that it gets

The most air
possible so that
you can gain a
few extra
horse power!!

most e-bay stuff is fine as long as its not a body kit and you dont spend over 100 bucks on it, that way if u do get screwed ur not loosin out on alot...

i love writing
like this, so i think
il start doing it all
the time now
cuz it looks kool
and alot more people
notice my car
which is all i want,
is more people
to notice me
because i wasnt
hugged
as a child

Re: Headlights

hmm.....
well i dont like to write in hella long lines,
for some reason
i tend to hit enter every time i take a breath,
like when im speaking.
i guess its easier for me that way....

i plan on gettin hid's
but i dont want no ghetto ass shit...
like how my boy has it
the his beam is undirrected...
it goes everywhere....
i want a general dirrection
so like i dont blind the guy next to me on the freeway
just cuz my lights shine everywhere.

i was wondering tho...
is there a possible way of adjusting the projectors...
if they are adjusted wrong?

Re: Headlights

Alright, first of all your boys headlights are going everywhere because they weren't properly aimed, you can aim your headlights yourself. Secondly, the ebay projectors withOUT halos I've heard some horror stories about fitment and them being crooked. I have NOT heard any problems with the 1 piece HALO projectors, other then the fact that they arn't that bright and you can NOT change out the halogen bulbs, you could however replace the shitty projectors and put your own HID projectors in there. OR you could buy the crystal clear headlights, that are pretty much the same as the stock ones but they don't have the "diamond" covers they're all clear, get those and put in some HID bulbs, that'd be pretty cool and look nice.

Re: Headlights

I was thinkin about getting the halo projectors,
the thing is...
some of them say they dont come with bulbs...
does that mean i can put in my silverstars?
and then i always have the option of a hid kit later,
which i plan to do.
since im getting hook ups on all lighting.

Re: Headlights

Speaking of which, which bulbs give off the HID look, I mean the bright ass Blue glow, I have in Eurolite Fusion bulbs which claim to have a bright white glow with that Blue-HID look but they don't. I want the really bright blue glow, ive gone through many sets of bulbs and still havent found it....someone please tell me, im sick of wasting money trying to find them....

Re: Headlights

Listen, you don't want that type of bulb. The bluer the light is, the LESS output. That means you can't see where you are going. The best color temp to have is between 3000K - 5500K approx. Because these are closer to the color of daylight; about 5000K. If you want good lighting get some HIDs from Xenon Depot around 5000K. You will not be dissapointed. For the money you wasted already, you could have almost gotten a set of HIDs.

Re: Headlights

i do agree w/ the projectors....my GSR has them stock. I have seen many cars w/ HID's that dont have projectors and they dont look as good....

HID + Projectors = sweet

I've seen commercials for the new Silverstar Ultras, they seem really bright and have the bluish tint, check them out.
