Question F-150 wipers inop

the wipers on my son's 2004 Heritage F-150 are inop. The 30A fuse is good & has voltage. I swapped relays around with no luck. I pulled the cowl panel to check voltage at the wiper motor, and have power on 2 of 5 contacts, but I don't know what I should be reading there. I'm wondering if I should just spend the $ to do a motor swap. It looks like it'll be a pain to change out in the weather. Does anybody know what voltage I should have on the connector contacts, or where I might find that info? I hate to buy a book as I don't see my son keeping the truck for any length of time. Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: F-150 wipers inop

If my tired memory is useful at all you will have 12 volts all the time and the switch grounds the motor. You will want to swap the clamp around on the test light( or meter) to see if the switch is fact grounding the other terms on demand. If the ground is switch then i would suggest you need a motor,if it is not grounding the motor you heading inside the cab to hunt that one down.
