dual mass flywheel

I have a small repair shop in BC Canada, I am starting to see right hand drive vehicles coming in from japan and elswere, a lot of these are vehicles that were never sold on the north american market and parts are a problem.
So having said that my problem now is a 1991 pagaro turbo diesel with a 5 speed manual trans and a dual mass flywheel which is blown, my options are a new one $1600 C minimum and 2 months away, or weld exhisting flywheel which I think is a bad idea as the cluch is on the small side and I doubt it would hold togeather without the damping of the dual mass wheel. Has anyone had experience with this or know of a replacement solid flywheel.
