Power window glitch

1992 BMW 325is

Does anyone have a similar power window problem as the one I have. If so, how is it solved. When I press the passenger window switch the window will move 1 inch at a time, up or down. The driver side window works fine. I hope the power window motor doesn't need replacement ($$$$)

Make SURE that the PW switches' connectors are SNUGLY connected that may be all the problem and if they are tight be sure there is no corrosion on the terminals...
