that shifter nob....

who can tell me an easy way to get the shifter nob off on an 01 cavy manual tranny? i have no problem taking the whole shifter out just that damn nob. nobby nob nob bitch...... any who.....

If its like my 98 Z24 then there is a little metal pin on the frontside of the knob towards the bottom. Get a flathead screwdriver and pry that clip out of there. Then the knob will pull right off. Good Luck!

I know on my 04 the nob is pressed on, it was a Bi**h to get off. I just twisted and tried to turn it and it finally pop off.

my 2000 5 speed. the knob wouldnt come off and it doesnt....the dealership said you have to cut it off 2 remove it. i dont know the year specifics...sorry

look real hard and you will find a very small set screw in the handle through the leather on the manual shift knob.
