Question 3s-gte

hi all ...
i drive an toyota corolla levin AE86 , with 4a-ge (120-130hp) . and i want to change my car's engine , and i prefer non NA engine , so i asked many and went to the internet and found that the best engine to swap in to AE86 is : the toyota 3S-GTE engine , but there is three models of this engine :
1- 190 hp , 2- 205 hp , 3 - 240 to 260 hp .
and i prefer to put the middle ( 205hp ) because it will be 205 hp on rear wheel only ( not 4x4 ) .
so i want u to help me and tell me wish is better and what is the bad side of the engine , and who many km it goes with 20L of Benzene ?

3S-GTE is a good engine, should not give you any problems if it is in good shape. What is 20L of Benzene?

Re: 3s-gte

the AE86 is the identical body to the 86 or so Corolla GTS correct? if so, you might have some trouble getting a 3SGTE in there as if i remember correctly it was designed as a transverse mounted engine. I'm not sure you would have the hood clearance for all of it.

Please correct me if i'm wrong

Re: 3s-gte

As I understand there is some differences with the different generations off engine. I’ve got a 1st gen 3S-GTE. The question is how much the internals can stand since there is another crank shaft. My intention is to keep the engine as stock as possible. There will be another center feed fuel rail and an extra intercooler. Since the engine came with out ECU and cables there will be a new engine management system.
So where is the limit for this engine, and what rmp limit is there to expect?
