1990 735il Goes Crazy after battery died

My battery died after several months of not using this vehicle. Upon jump starting (maybe I did it wrong!!!) car behaves crazy. Vehicle did started and runs however electrically speaking the car behaves erratic,ei: front lights are blinking, power lock door does not work, gasoline access door is locked, cannot fill the tank with gas!!! It seems like the vehicle needs some form of electric resent that I cannot understand. I started to drive the car in the evening and the front lights cut off after of driving for a mile ....I had to stop the vehicle again....any ideas on what to do????

Give it a good sloooooooooooow charge overnight. Many many wierd problems can occur after a dead battery with no rhyme or reason.

On the V12, sometimes the car will go into limp mode on a jumped battery that hasn't been properly charged overnight. There's a lot of electrical gadget in these cars so the battery will take longer to charge off the alternator.
