Talking Dashboard help wit a 1970 Camaro

yea heres a wee lil problem My camaro been sittin for 36 years and the dash has this nasty stick feelin to it an armorall wont get it off the sticky shit preserved the dash from crackin but its hard a hell to get off wut can i us thanks

Tough Stuff, my Rambler's steering wheel was gooey form the rubber slwoly breaking down after sitting. A few hours soaking it an dthen let it sit in the sun and all is well.

$300 new dash... good to go. Sticky stuff is hard to get rid of.. Dylan's gooey, "slwoly" breaking down rubber is something I wouldn't touch with a 40 foot pole.

Besides if it is because the materials are breaking down it's in the process of dying anyway.

(Edit: Replacing dash is easier than you think.)

No, the wheel that's on it a a vintage Grant and I believe it was the protectants added into the compound to retain it's finish. The same wheel is on the car to this day after I used some Blue Coral revitaliser on it
