HELP PLEASE- Front Defrost

I have a 1994 cavalier. I need help asap. it snowed today and I finaly realized my climate control system is not working. No matter what setting i have it on it only blows air out the dash vents. This cuases a major problem since it was snowing and freezing to my windshield! I know there is a flap in the dash somewhere that controls which area air blows out. Could something be blocking this or jaming it into one position? Or could a vac line be off? I need some input before i go ripping into the dash! All help is greatly appreciated, Derek.

Re: HELP PLEASE- Front Defrost

well one thing I could possibly think of is its stuck.. did you try moving the switch for the vents when the car was off? I tried it once and it got stuck, so that could be your problim... I dont remeber how we fixed it, but I do recall a sludge hammer was involved... lol jk

But seriously, I dont remeber how we fixed it, just take it to the garage or call them up, and see if they can help you..
