I need help.
I am driving a 2000 jimmy with 91 000km on it and all last winter and starting this winter the truck won't start if its -11C or below. It will start at -10C. Last winter wires plugs iginision coil. ditributer etc. all replaced and still have the problem. Gas does not have water in it have tried high test fuel also plugging in the block heater. Help!
I had a similar problem.....search for my post. In a nutshell, there was no 12VDC on the pink wire of the ignition module. I determined that it was the "computer." "Rigged" fix was to put a toggle switch between battery and pink wire on ignition module. Just flip switch on to start when it is cold. Don't forget to flip it off after starting or you won't be able to kill the engine with the key. Get that voltmeter out and start checking for voltgage. Good luck.
