Im wondering about a 350 swap in my 87 cherokee, how hard and is it possible. my motor is still good and runs great for now it has a slight oil leek sum where idk wher but it leaks on the exhast. Any way if u could provide me sum picts or info for the swap, thanxs!:naughty: and also would it be possible to keep the same wireing harness for the fuel injection?

IMO, I think that engine is too large in size for the XJ. Also you have to get the transmission to mate up.

I figured that about the transmission. But i hav also seen sum with a 350, even one with a LT1 out of a 95 Z28.:popcorn:

In an XJ?

I have seen them in CJs and the Grands of course.

I've seen "how tos" on putting the Chevy small block into an XJ.
The most common trans to use is the Turbo350. There are several choices.
It is a tight fit and the engine has to be offset to the passenger side about an inch and a half. Good Luck with your project.
