help please

I have a 1993 eurovan mv, & my temp & fuelgauge works when it feel like it,I do smak the top of the dash & comes to life for, 10min or 1or2 hours can somone giv me a clue??new gauges? thanks geo

i'd say it's in the dash board sence you smack the dashboard...take it out check the wires.
