i'm looking for gts or something similar rwd light weight...starlet? to put my s2000 drivetrain in. i'm in seattle. any suggestions?

I was once told by a Toyota mechanic (works on Toyotas) that you could drop an S2000 motor into an 82-83 Corolla SR5 and make it go really fast. I'm no expert, but I'll keep his words in mind. Just letting you know.

I have seen an 86 with the S2000 engine in it somewhere! I don't remember where, but you could try a web search and get ahold of the guy for questioning!

I've seen an 86 with an SR20DET motor running at Sacramento Raceway Park. It ran 12's. I don't know what other mods he's got besides the motor. You could really hear the turbo spool though.
