need hood
I recently wrecked my car and am now looking for a hood. my hood was said to be unfixable so i need to get a new or used on. i would prefer a used one due to costs. I alos found a hood that i kinda liked if I bought a new one. Its a glasstek 4 inch ram air. tell me what ya'll think and also where a good place to find one is. I live in nc and am willing to drive atleast in the state to get it or have it shipped to me. much thanks.

Re: need hood
do they fit good, i know they are aftermarket and with that comes the chance of bad lines, so do they generally fit good or what?

Re: need hood
Everyone who I know who has them say there was absolutely minimal body work necessary

Re: need hood
i'm definitely not looking to spend the $1911 that the body shops price them at. i'm having some guy i know do it on the side so i looking to get a hood for whatever. i like the four in raised ram air and the price isn't that outragous, but if i can find a used original i'd put that on first. but i think that 4'' raised would look nasty white with black stripes down the the car.

Re: need hood
So you're not looking to buy a stock hood, right? cause I have one that I will let go for dirt cheap.

Re: need hood
You wouldn't be interested. By stock, I meant the non ram air factory hood. I put on a ram air aftermarket, thats why I have it. So I agree with your preference.

Re: need hood
yeah, it sucks trying to find a used factory ram air hood. a body shop guy said he could patch it and fix it but that it wouldn't look perfect and this thing is my baby so i expect perfection when it comes to it.
