Haven,t been on for awhile but I do have this one question on my Jeep.
2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport
Ever since I,ve had this vehicle, When in general I start out in the morning and motor is in a cold state I have this condition.
Shifting from 1st gear to second gear may hang delay shift. Once vehicle starts to warm up' shifting delay between 1st and 2nd goes away.
Is this the nature of these vehicles to do this?
This roaring rpm delay sound is what I was talking about awhile back under a different title. Most of you guys said it was the clutch cooling fan noise when starting out. We,ll I believe your correct but the fan produces more noise on cold start outs because of this shift delay.
Thanks for the imfo., I was wondering if I had a tranny problem in early fail stages.
I,m assumeing now that hot summer days would speed up the cat heat up
time and this would possibly be less noticeable.
