New problem...

So I have noticed recently with my 96 Cav that sometimes when I "take off" My car makes a poping noise under the hood Kind of sounds like a small back fire. Along with the poping noise the car seems to want to stall... Anyone have this problem? Or know what it is or how to fix it?

Re: New problem...

could have a faulty wire. put the old ones back on or try some others. then see if the problem goes away.

Re: New problem...

Very true... and tonight I'm thinking the spark plugs are bad... because the car is acting the same as it did just before I replaced them

Re: New problem...

the spark plugs might not be bad but not gapped to the right specs, cuz mine kinda did that and when i looked at them, they were all gapped right exept one was 2 millimeters off so i regapped it and it works fine now
