03 Tahoe power seat problems

I have an 03 Tahoe where the driver seat won't go all of the way back. All of the other controls (tilt/lumbar) work fine. The motor just stops. It's not binding or hitting anything. The tracks are clear.

Here's the weird part: Ocassionally the switch works backwards. If you push it forward, the seat goes back - all the way back. If you push the switch back, the seat moves forward. It doesn't do that very often but once in a while it will happen. This the only time the seat will go all of the way back.

This all started when we were cleaning it out. Could I have hit something with the shop-vac while cleaning? All of the connections I've found seem tight. I'm not sure where the forward/back travel limit swithces are, so I wonder if I could have hit those.

Sound familiar to anyone? Any help is greatly appreciated!
